Mac n Cheese


That will forever be my response to mac n cheese hehe. Sometimes you just want some good old comfort food, carbs and all.

One of my favorite rainy day foods.


2 cups shell pasta
3 cups water
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 oz cream cheese
1 cup loosely packed shredded cheddar cheese
1-2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp dijon mustard (or to taste)
1 tsp red pepper flakes


In a medium saucepan, bring water to boil. Add pasta, and reduce to simmer. Cook for 10 minutes or until pasta shells are softened. Drain pasta.

Turn heat off, add remaining ingrediants and stir to combine.  Cover and let stand for about 5 minutes, then stir again and serve.

If you would like to bake it at this point, place in a baking dish and top with a generous sprinkling of cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 10 minutes until cheese has melted.
